Present and discuss 3D information
The PSP™ is a complete 3D visualization and 3D interaction system that enables the multiple users to interact, present and discuss 3D information.
A multi view autostereoscopic or polarization screen hangs on the wall. A few meters in front of the screens is a stand on which the user can find the 3D interaction devices. By grabbing the interaction devices the users are able to interact with the virtual world.
The stand contains a high end computer system and can be equipped with an integrated RVS keyboard and Trackball.
For Scientists, Medical Professional and Engineers, the PSP is the presentation, discussion and decision medium for 3D data.
The PSP can be equipped with our medical visualization software.

6DOF Optical Motion Tracking
The PSS comes our proprietary plug and play tracking technology. This state of the art tracking offers accurate fast six degrees of freedom optical tracking.

A choice of high resolution 2D/3D screens.
Depending your needs the PSP is available in a wide variety of stereoscopic technologies and screen sizes.
We work with most OEM’s of stereoscopic screens to ensure the best possible screen size and technology to fit your needs. Typical screen configurations use screens between 24″ and 50″.
For bigger screen sizes we use projectors.
Turn key flexible solution using standard components
The PSP is a Complete Turn key VR solution including all hardware and software to immediately start working.
Personal Space Technologies uses the high quality standard components for its VR systems. The PSP can be therefore be easily expanded, upgraded, maintained and configured to your specific needs.
Software compatibility
Most VR applications can also run in the PSP. Personal Space Technologies further develops specific plug ins that open up additional functionality that was in other 3d environments not available.
VR API: Portable Virtual Reality (PVR)
The PSP comes standard with a PVR license. PVR is a LEAN and POWERFULL VR engine that allows users to focus on their application and have PVR deal with the VR issues. PVR is suited for both VR developers and for VR users. PVR users do not need VR specific knowledge.
3D interaction next to 2D tools
3D interaction is valuable for some tasks while other operations are more efficient using the traditional 2D tools like mouse and keyboard. Therefore in the PSP the user has access to both. Depending on the task at hand the user selects the right tool (e.g. menu operations using 2D tools, positioning a data set using 3D tools).
Optimization of existing VR infrastructure
The PSS can be used as a stand alone tool and can be used as part of a complete network. The PSS is used in combination with other VR systems and can be used with external computing power. This maximizes the usability of the PSS as well as the in place VR infrastructure
